Cognaire was founded by two long-time friends in Australia and the United Kingdom who spent their careers on very different paths – one in software engineering and AI product development, the other in finance, operational risk, and investment. Despite the different worlds, we kept seeing the same pattern repeat across organisations of every size: complex questionnaires, inconsistent knowledge, and scattered processes slowing teams down.
One of us spent years leading major RFP responses for a global software company – coordinating large bid teams, managing hundreds of questions, and wrestling with fragmented content, ad-hoc knowledge stores, and endless rewriting. The other worked across finance and private equity, where security assessments, compliance questionnaires, and due-diligence packs were similarly manual, repetitive, and structurally inconsistent. We both experienced the pain points first-hand.
Those experiences became the foundation for Cognaire Respond.

Enterprises rely on accuracy, clarity, and consistency – but most bid, security, and compliance processes sit on top of fragile document collections or outdated response libraries. Poor knowledge governance leads to higher rework, lower answer quality, and ultimately weaker outcomes.
So we designed Cognaire Respond around a simple principle: build a secure, governed, enterprise-grade knowledge corpus first, then let AI do its best work.
Our mission is to empower organisations with a foundation they can trust — one where strong knowledge, thoughtful governance, and human-centred AI come together to raise the standard of how teams answer, collaborate, and operate.
Our mission shapes more than the product we build — it defines the principles we stand for. These beliefs reflect how we think about knowledge, AI, and the people who use them. They guide our decisions, influence our design, and anchor our commitment to raising the quality of work across every organisation we serve.
We believe accuracy, clarity, and consistency matter more than volume. Strong answers build trust, reduce rework, and shape outcomes — which is why quality must be protected, measured, and continually improved.
Great answers come from great inputs. Organisations need a secure, well-governed, enterprise-grade knowledge base — reviewed for quality, relevance, structure, and compliance before anything ever informs a response.
AI is most valuable when it handles the heavy lifting — retrieval, drafting, and analysis — giving people more time for judgement, strategy, creativity, and the human nuance automation can’t replace.
High-stakes work requires alignment, not silos. Shared knowledge, clear governance, and coordinated workflows help teams move faster, reduce fatigue, stay consistent, and deliver better answers together.
Join leading response, compliance, and security teams who trust Cognaire to deliver accurate, consistent answers with speed and confidence — transforming complex questionnaires into efficient, high-quality output.

Cognaire is an AI-native company. Rather than bolting AI onto existing workflows, we designed Respond from the ground up around modern LLM capabilities, multi-stage pipelines, and governed retrieval.
Our system never guesses from public information. It uses the organisation’s trusted content, applies strict topic-level governance, and produces answers that are both accurate and auditable. AI handles scale and consistency; humans retain control and oversight.
Across industries, most teams still manage RFPs, security questionnaires, CVs, and case studies through spreadsheets, shared drives, and email threads. Knowledge is scattered, processes vary between teams, and quality depends on who happens to answer a given question.
We built Cognaire Respond to fix that.
The platform includes collaborative workspaces, assignment tools, structured workflows, quality scoring, and centralised knowledge management – all designed for organisations where multiple contributors, stakeholders, and reviewers must work at pace on high-stakes documents.
Our focus is not just automation. It is governance, quality, team coordination, and repeatability – the foundations that support better win rates, smoother audits, and more efficient bid operations.
Cognaire operates between Australia and the UK, building tools that support global teams with accuracy, security, and scale.
We’re still early in our journey, but our direction is clear: to make enterprise answers faster, safer, and far more reliable – by unifying knowledge, workflow, and AI into one governed system.
